Play Overview
These games are designed to mimic the official Among Us game although it offers 3D visuals. 10 players are tasked with performing tasks to maintain a space station while one or two of them are secret impostors who try and kill the others.
Unlike other survival games, it’s not all about attacking other players. Anyone can call a meeting at any point in the game and then vote to remove other players from the game. If they manage to identify the impostors correctly the crew win. If the impostors survive they live on to kill again. In this Roblox version of the game, you can earn badges, and purchase codes and fixes.
The game has the same elements as the official Among Us game but lacks some of the more detailed features. There are fewer ways to observe the ship and the tasks are not as varied. Also, there is no “fog-of-war” where you can’t see into a room if you are not in it. That said, for younger players, this is a novel alternative. Also, Roblox games have a long history with this kind of challenge. Murder Mystery 2 pitted players against each other with an unknown attack in a similar way. Being a Roblox game, Impostor will be able to iterate its modes, rules, settings and general play style as the large community of players offers feedback to the developer.
