It's a game with a focus on creativity, imagination and roleplaying. When you start you set your name and appearance then go about collecting the small creatures in the world. You build and expand a house, and earn coins by interacting with players or doing jobs like fishing, or playing games like Mario Kart-style races.
The world consists of varied locations much like an interconnected shopping mall. You can eat ice cream at the ice cream shop, visit the hospital and play as a doctor, go to school and play as a teacher or even go to Club DJ. You can host your own events for friends and have parties with up to 50 players.

6+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. It's also important to ensure children understand in-game purchases and have spending limits set-up. Younger players love the doll house play here. You can take things at your own pace but do need to understand how to earn currency to purchase items. As it's an online game you need to be able to deal with interacting with other players.
- In-Game Purchases: Additional in-game purchases are offered for items that enhance the experience.
You need a subscription to play online:
- You need to purchase a Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online with Xbox One.
Many families choose to pay for an In-Game Subscription that grants access to features and Robux currency for use in any Roblox games without the risk of individual transactions. Outside the game, you can make larger purchases.
This subscription grants 450 Robux a month as well as discounts on buying more Robux and access to selling and trading items with other subscribed Roblox players. The games generally encourage the spending of Robux to progress as a proportion of the money spent goes to the person who creates the game.
Tokens: You get 10 tokens for each Meep per day to purchase items to decorate your Meep.
Coins: Are used to purchase items from the Shop so you can decorate your Meep. You can earn coins by playing or purchasing them with Robux. You can also buy a Plus Membership for 400 Robux (£4.59) that offers daily coins and tokens, increase coin rewards, customisable themes, chat status, and 10% off items in the shop.
For example, to buy the Jetpack for 10,000 coins you would need about 1600 Robux which cost in the region of £18.49 in real money.
