Play requires good spatial awareness as well as quick reactions to run around the corridors, and manipulate them to create routes. There are instructions provided as you play which let you develop skills slowly as you move through.
The result is a challenging puzzle involving a lot of trial and error. The intriguing interplay between the moveable puzzle, changing gravity and route finding make it a really unique experience.
10+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Requires a level of lateral thinking and patience.
Account RatingAccount required for online play that has 7 years old as minimum age. You must be 7 years old to have a PSN account, which is required to play Dreams. To set this up you need permission from a parent or guardian. Unless the parent or guardian specify not to restrict Network Features | Communication and User-Generated Content, or make an exception for Dreams they will only be able to access games and assets created by Media Molecule (rather than game made by the community).
This is an unusual "subscription" as you only need to purchase the Dreams game once on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, then you can access all the games for free.
