Play OverviewPlay Overview

Dragon Box (2012) is an educational series of games that teaches young children maths, such as algebra using pattern matching with symbols. Unlike other educational games, the fun is in the doing in DragonBox, rather than incentivising learning with separate gaming moments.

You play through five worlds with twenty levels. To progress you complete minigame puzzles where you organize cards on two trays. This teaches the basic rules of maths without making it look complicated with symbols and numbers.

The range that started with Algebra now includes a wider set of topics:
  • DragonBox Numbers
  • DragonBox BIG Numbers
  • DragonBox Algebra 5+
  • DragonBox Algebra 12+
  • DragonBox Elements,

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Dragon Box 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Ben Kendall and updated 5 months ago.
