Play OverviewPlay Overview

Everybody 1-2-Switch (2023) is a party game played with the Joy-Con motion controllers to compete in a series of fun and silly challenges. From making friends with aliens to filling giant balloons with just the right amount of air, or working in a manic ice cream parlour, you play by executing different motions and button presses with the controller.

You play the game on your own or in teams, earning points by playing through a series of randomly selected challenges. However, there are a couple of main ways to play:
  • Joy-Con Mode: Up to 8 players compete, each with a Joy-Con to run a relay race, play a game of hide and seek, and other activities. This enables you to play 13 of the 17 games.
  • Smartphone Mode: Up to 100 players use their smartphone camera to find something that matches the colour on screen, or outbid the opposing team in a competitive auction and other activities. This enables you to play 12 of the 17 games.

There are different challenges you can choose that group the mini-games and players differently. *Team Contest splits the group into two teams to compete in a random selection of minigames for 20 mins, 40 mins or 60 mins.
  • Quiz Party gets everyone to individually race to get the most right answers in a general knowledge and quick thinking quiz. You can also create your own quizzes for some personalised puzzling!
  • Bingo Party uses your smartphone as a bingo card! Keep an eye out for the roulette jackpot where three numbers are drawn at once.

The result is an unusual board game-style party challenge for all ages. Although it's sometimes thought to be either too sedate or too strange for wide appear, played in groups of four or more and this is a lot of fun and a lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon together.
