Play OverviewPlay Overview

Free Fire (2018) (also called Free Fire Battlegrounds, Free Fire, Garena Free Fire-New Beginning) is a shooting game like Fortnite but only played on mobile phones and tablet devices. It is highly popular for its online battles where 50 players search for weapons to kill each other.

Players parachute down to the map, then must look for weapons and utility items such as medical equipment, guns, grenades and other firearms. The goal is to be the last player standing. As with other Battle Royale games, the playable area of the map shrinks.

The game is continually updated and improved. This brings changes to the map as well as introducing some updated guns and tweaking characters. Garena is currently working on an enhanced version of Free Fire which will be called Free Fire Max.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Free Fire 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 3 months ago.
