Play is controlled with just a few simple controls. Move with the stick and jump with the button. However, as you try and herd the chickens, they try to run away from you. The danger is that in trying to get them off the edge, you fall off yourself.
Each level has a unique theme, from a frying pan, to a falling piano, to a deep sea scene. If you fail it only reloads your current level, so it is simple to progress.

No blood and gore, but the aim of the game is to push plucked chickens over the edge, presumably to their death. There are also scenes with heavy weights falling on the characters, and spinning and slashing knives.
3+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Very simple controls and gameplay make it playable by even really young children.

To set this up you need permission from a parent or guardian. Unless the parent or guardian specify not to restrict Network Features | Communication and User-Generated Content, or make an exception for Dreams they will only be able to access games and assets created by Media Molecule (rather than games made by the community).
This is an unusual "subscription" as you only need to purchase the Dreams game once on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, then you can access all the games for free.
