Play OverviewPlay Overview

Go Mecha Ball (2024) is a rolling, shooting game that weaponises pinball to turn it into a boss battle adventure. You blast your way through isometric levels, controlling the rolling with one stick and shooting with the other.

It's a quick and frantic arcade shooting game, but you play a character who can turn into a ball. You have to work with the pinball physics to get around the different levels, bumpers and switches. But also, you get to strap on a wide arsenal of devastating weapons.

To progress you shoot and bash your way through waves of enemy robots before taking on big bosses. Do this well and you get to upgrade your weapons ready for the next run.

The result is a game that is as fun to roll around as it is to shoot. Navigate dynamic arena playgrounds with a mix of rolling, bouncing, leaping, and bounding through four diverse worlds. The speed and scale of the challenge are designed to bring a smile to player's faces old and young.

9+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. You need to be able to cope with controlling movement direction and shooting direction on two different sticks. Because of the pinball physics, you need to work with the levels to get around and cope with the frustration of being bumped around. Also, good to be aware the game gets much harder in the latter levels of a run.
