Hades II is a shooting action game that takes you beyond the Underworld of the first game to battle the dark sorcery of the Titan of Time. Play involves shooting and fighting your way through waves of enemies until you die (which you do often). It stands out for combining this action with an evolving and compelling story drawn from Greek mythology and witchcraft.
Building on the move-and-shoot challenge, evolving upgrades and dynamic story of the first game, Hades II brings us to the dawn of witchcraft. Using one stick to shoot and the other to move, you explore a bigger, deeper, mythic world to dispatch the forces of the Titan of Time. Through multiple runs (and deaths) to progress not only your character in this rouge-like challenge but also influence a sweeping story that reflects your every setback and accomplishment.
As you progress you learn to upgrade your weapons to be stronger and more effective. Along the way, you meet fully-voiced characters both new faces and old friends from the first game. Grow closer to them through a variety of new interactions, and experience countless unique story events based on how your journey unfolds.
