Play OverviewPlay Overview

Lunistice (2022) is a simple running and jumping game where you styled on Sonic games from the PlayStation and Sega Saturn era of the 2000s. You control Hana the Tanuki as she jumps and fights her way through flowing levels. It stands out for its joy of charging through bright levels with only your reactions and instincts to rely upon.

As you play you explore Hana's different dreamscapes and guide her to her final destination, the moon. This sets the scene to explore (and run/slide/jump through) a multitude of different areas created from Hana's memories: old shrine, fancy water parks and world made out of food are highlights.

The result is a simple and short experience designed to be enjoyed in short bursts. It packs a lot of vibrant feel-good challenge into its small package.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Lunistice a year ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 5 months ago.
