Play OverviewPlay Overview

Squad Busters (2024) is a fighting game where you recruit a miniature cartoon army of tiny characters to loot enemies, battle your friends and collect more minions. Play is about exploring the map efficiently, unlocking the right characters and taking on enemies who you can outmatch. It stands out for its simple tactics like character merging and evolving that must be used efficiently to get the upper hand. (It's also the first new Supercell game in over five years.)

You start your run with tiny baby heroes. As you explore, collect items and battle the large enemies you can slowly evolve each of your characters into full-grown superstars with a range of special abilities. You play with ten people on the map and compete by collecting the most gold to increase the size and strength of your squad. Ultimately you need to have the most gems by the end of the round.

As you progress through the matches you build up more characters to choose from in the next round. The key to doing well is the Fusion action which combines three identical characters. This not only makes one stronger character but reduces how much it costs to unlock chests.

The result is a game that's bright, fun and simple to start. It draws on characters from other games from this developer, Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Hay Day, Clash Royale, and Boom Beach. The frantic quick nature of the game and the sheer number of modifiers and characters means there is always something new to do.
