You play Wéko on a journey across the wide reaches of the world, in a quest to find seven ancient masks imbued with magical powers. This provides new ways to solve complex environmental puzzles, not dissimilar to those found in modern Zelda titles, and help the inhabitants of the towns you come across.

As the world opens up, the blend of Japanese architecture with that of the developer's own Switzerland home becomes apparent, making for a unique mix of sensibilities to immerse yourself in.
