Play OverviewPlay Overview

A Long Climb Ago is a running and jumping game where you create the platforms you need with Tetris-style blocks. Play involves two modes; you place the blocks that fall from the sky to create a safe route, then you control your character to run and jump to the exit.

You play a knight and mage who are working to reunite two lovers, repair the crystals and save the realm. You do this by working through levels to ascend the tower. You use the blocks to create the platforms you need by freezing time. But care is needed to avoid hazards, and to stop the blocks you place from bringing down the fragile structures you need to progress.

The result is a short and sweet action puzzle set in a stylish Medieval world. Things start simply but you are soon facing multiple hazards and precarious bridges to cross (and take care not to collapse with your blocks).

Content Rating

This game has not yet been rated, but we anticipate it is likely to be rated PEGI 12.

User-Generated Content: This game includes content created by other players, such as maps, outfits and items, that are not reflected in the game rating.

Skill Level

8+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. You need to have good control of your character in the world, but also precision and planning in the placement of the blocks. Being able to freeze time does reduce the pressure, but there's still quite a lot riding on each move.
