Play Overview
Learning Factory (2021) is a strategy game where you automate an old factory. Unusually, this isn't to make money and conquer the world but a round about approach to understand cats. Peculiar backstory aside, the game tasks you with renovating the factory, designing and automating production chains to produce and sell exquisite goods -- to cats.
The gameplay draws on the popularity of farming processes but introduces more involved and powerful tools to the player. You collect and analyze data with Machine Learning, scale and make the factory more efficient and come up with new ways to make more products.
Along with the drag and drop design, you have all manner of graphs and read-outs at your finger tips. At first it can seem overwhelming, but making use of the handpicked educational videos and in-game learning material, and it soon starts coming together.
