Play OverviewPlay Overview

A Rat's Quest is a running, jumping, hiding adventure where you play a young male rat called Mat who lives in a burrow in an abandoned wine cellar. It's part platform game part Pixar story as you help Mat escape with his partner Nat. But out in the big wide world, he is separated from her and must fight his way back home.

Along with the story you must climb, jump, crawl, slither and sneak like a rodent. The action is paired with slow sections as you creep along narrow walls and under the floor by switching perspectives.

As a rodent in the big world, you are vulnerable. You have a make do sword and shield but this isn't an adventure about fighting. Instead, you find and gather gadgets to help you survive and find the way back home.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked A Rat's Quest 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Thom Robertson and updated 3 weeks ago.
