Gone Home (2013) places you in the role of Katie, returning from overseas to her family home. But the house is deserted and by exploring the rooms you piece together what happened to her sister, Sam. It’s a mystery to solve, but a common one of family disagreements, identity and sexual preferences.

Contains frequent use of strong language. This is a first-person game in which the player’s character searches her home for clues as to what has happened to the occupants. There are lots of interactive items which can be read to assist in the search, others include audio cassette tapes. These can be placed in a cassette machine and played. The tapes contains songs which contain the use of the sexual expletive ‘*!@?*’ and derivations of the word.
