Play OverviewPlay Overview

GreedFall (2019) is a colonisation-themed role-playing game with challenging combat and an intricate narrative. You play De Sardet, a noble colonising the remote island of Teer Fradee. However, you must deal with the warring factions, including the natives. As you make choices on how to tackle these challenges, you trigger a web of interrelated consequences that impact your relationship with each faction and the future of Teer Fradee.

You explore Teer Fradee and all of the dangers it possesses, developing your character along the way. You slowly gain weapons and skills that enable you to approach the challenges in different ways: dynamic magic, heavy-hitting two-handed weapons, fast-striking one-handed weapons, powerful pistols and rifles, sneaky traps, or a combination of styles.

The game starts slowly as your journey begins in the city of Serene, here you are provided with an introduction to the world and the purpose of departing for Teer Fradee. Your time in Serene serves as a tutorial and introduces some of the factions and their goals, taking the time needed to flesh out GreedFall's world. In Serene, you have the chance to try both combat and diplomacy before bringing your skills to Teer Fradee.

Rated PEGI 18+ for violence. Cut scenes in the game contain somewhat more graphical examples of violence, a case in point is a scene in which a human character is strung up by his ankle and a knife is thrown at him, this enters his right eye socket and the tip of the blade emerges from the rear of his head, this is accompanied by some blood effects; another is of a female character that is seen in a seated position with her hands tied behind her back around a wooden pole, the Inquisitor having asked some questions places the toe of his boot against her throat and proceeds to apply some weight to her exposed throat causing much suffering and she eventually dies or is rendered unconscious.

Rated for younger players in Australia. Rated Mature Accompanied (MA 15+) for Strong Violence.
