Skye Tales (2023) is a gentle adventure about exploring a rich playground of floating islands as a dragon called Skye. Play involves traversing each chapter, meeting and interacting with different creatures and solving puzzles along the way. It's a game that stands out for its picture book aesthetics and its invitation to explore the richly packed worlds.

As you play you gently fly through the cosy valleys of Brinn and solve puzzles to help your fellow denizens. You can take things at your own pace, playing with a rainbow of tactile toys and instruments or heading straight for the main quests. Along the way you make friends with the creatures you meet.

The result is an unusual game that offers young players a break from demanding or draining experiences. In fact, Skye Tales is part of a study working with children and adults to assess the potential mental health and wellness benefits of video games for persons dealing with anxiety and depression.
