Device 6 is a narrative puzzle where you piece together a mystery through unusual interactions with your device. As the story unfolds, you rotate your screen, hold it up to a mirror to read backwards text, and generally search for clues in unusual ways. It stands out for these unique interactions and its unusual world, created through text that reflects each new environment.

NotesAccessibility Notes

One of the largest potential accessibility hurdles is the way that text is constantly changing its orientation, requiring you to either continually rotate your device or try and read upside down / back-to-front / sideways.

There are no hints and some of the puzzles can be very difficult to piece together, requiring careful examination of everything you come across. Some of the clues can be very small, low in contrast, or otherwise easy to miss. This includes text. There is no speech, but there is a lot of text that's essential for playing.

There are occasionally sound effects, although these do not necessarily correspond to individual game events and are more there to add ambience and immersion.
