Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova is an action adventure where you run around exploring different worlds, battling enemies and solving simple puzzles. You play on your own or with someone else as Dal and Gwyn, who each have different abilities needed to progress different parts of the levels. It's a mix of Uncharted style adventuring, but with approachability and playfulness focusing on a younger audience.

NotesAccessibility Notes

The game starts with a cutscene with subtitles turned on by default. These lose their contrast at times, and are not very big. The game warns about flashing images at the start.

You can play with just Keyboard on PC, but the default controls use the Mouse for interact. The mouse is not needed to play the game (there are no mechanics that require aiming/pointing) and it can be rebound.

Although there aren't Difficulty Settings or Assists, the game is designed for young players and there is puzzle assist system where the Tricorder provides help.

You can access the Tutorial messaging again via the menu. Control reminders are displayed in game at appropriate times and in context of the gamepad.
