Marble It Up Ultra (2018) is a rolling and jumping game where you race a marble through levels to get to the finish. You play by controlling the direction of your marble rolls, being careful not to fall off platforms and traversing each level as efficiently as possible. It captures the toybox feel of marble-run challenges while adding fantastical elements like anti-gravity, jumping, and powerups.
The game begins by introducing the different skills and challenges one by one. The danger increases through the levels in the form of moving obstacles, difficult jumps, and other players if you play multiplayer.
As the game progresses you learn to work with the physics and momentum of the marble to go as fast as possible while maintaining mobility. Fast times in levels are rewarded by gold medals and high scores, so it pays off to get good at the controls. Exploration is also encouraged - players can unlock cosmetic items by discovering secret areas or performing especially complex manoeuvres.
