Play OverviewPlay Overview

Wibble Wobble (2022) is a running and balancing game. A bit like a super-hard egg-and-spoon race, you manoeuvre a bowl through a timed obstacle course while balancing a ball inside. The twist is that the bowl can pass through some obstacles that the ball cannot so you have to jump, run or throw the ball to get through. All the while the ball bobbles around the bowl with real physics and will escape given half the chance.

The timed course has no instructions other than the controls, so you have to work out what to do through trial and error. Raise the bowl with a Trigger button to collect the ball at the start and make sure not to move too fast or the ball will roll out. Gentle use of the Trigger button affects how fast and how high the bowl will raise, and how the ball reacts.

Because the ball cannot pass through the semi-transparent barriers you must either move around them or throw the ball over them. The only other controls are the left stick to move, and right stick to tilt the bowl. It becomes a challenge about momentum management and deft touch with the controls.

It's a tricky obstacle course which requires dexterity, patience and tenacity. Try a level repeatedly to plan the perfect route, speed and manoeuvres. There are four levels in this main game and further levels are available as separate Dreams made by other creators using the same bowl and ball asset.

Our examiner, Andrea Walney, first checked Wibble Wobble (Dreams) 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 2 years ago.
