Play OverviewPlay Overview

Dreams Party! (2020) is a turn-based family board game for up to 4 players. There are two boards to choose from, Welcome Garden and Halloween. Like Mario Party, it creates the fun of a real board game but combines it with mini-games when players land on the same square.

Choose from a selection of cute characters as your pieces. There are always four players in play, with the un-chosen characters controlled by computer so you can play this on your own or with friends. Roll the dice and your character will move along the board. Land on the same square as an opponent or a special square to compete in mini-games.

Dreams Party generally uses single button presses for the mini-games which are competitive. There are multiple mini-games which include a sack race, pop the most popcorn by pressing a button furiously, a shooting arcade and other games which require fast reflexes. Winners of games get to move on a few spaces, and losers may have to go backwards.

Board games have in the past relied on having multiple people available to play. The joy of this game is that with the computer-controlled characters, you can play a four-player game with fewer players. You can also play without the mini-games if you wish, so it is just about the dice rolls (suitable for young children). A fun game for the whole family to play together.
