Play OverviewPlay Overview

Pikmin Bloom (2021) is an adventure strategy game you play by walking outside, like Pokemon Go. You explore your locale to find and recruit colourful Pikmin creatures with different abilities that can be used to complete in-game tasks.

Play involves walking around the real-world, as you do you see your character walk around the game map. You find Pikmin in seedling form. that you can grow these seeds into full Pikmin creatures by walking a required number of steps. The more useful Pikmin require more steps.

As you progress and grow Pikmin you can feed them Nectar to get them to flower and enable you to collect the flower petals. This enables you to grow your stock of nectar and petals that is used to purchase items in the game. Pikmin bring you gifts like fruit and nectar, but also can send you postcards from the places other players have visited in the real world.

You can spend petals to grow flowers on your in-game map, that other players can also see. Popular areas of the world with lots of players will steadily become covered in flowers. If you turn on the With Others mode you are visible to others.
