Play OverviewPlay Overview

Star Stuff (2024) is a puzzle adventure where you help a young alien on their first day at a star factory by solving logic and coding puzzles. You explore each level, code your own bots (without needing to know any actual coding), and save the ever-expanding universe.

Star Stuff is a cosmic coding puzzler that takes place in a factory that fabricates stars and shoots them into space. You are Mija (me-ha), a bright-eyed engineer on their first day on the job. You move Mija around freely as they help the alien solve a mix of coding and fun puzzles.

As you progress you discover a series of mishaps that need your attention. In this way, you slowly bring calm and order to the chaos. The coding combines Scratch-style blocks with the game-world objects to make the connection between the logic and the solution. Between puzzles, you can take a break in the cosy star factory lobbies and interact with familiar but curious objects.

The result is a game where you solve a big problem one step at a time. With over 70 hand-crafted puzzles there is a challenge that scales with your ability.

Content Rating

This game has not yet been rated, but we anticipate it is likely to be rated PEGI 3.

There is some light hearted peril in the story, but nothing that would worry any player.

Skill Level

8+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. The puzzles often lead to the player thinking out loud about how to solve them. This makes it a great game for young children to play with a parent. They need problem-solving and logic skills (but not coding knowledge) as well as movement.
