Play OverviewPlay Overview

Switch 'N' Shoot (2019) is a shooting game controlled by a single button. You pilot a star-fighter, and each time you press to shoot you change direction. It's a novel way to play but also can be good for players with motor impairment (and fast reactions).

At first, it seems almost impossible, but you can quickly start again. Over time you improve and discover the depth and complexity that can come from a single interaction. Add to this the retro visuals and synth soundtrack and you have a compelling and affordable experience.

You can also rotate the screen to play in portrait mode. The game also supports a wide range of controller setups, so how you play is up to you.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Switch 'N' Shoot 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 4 months ago.
