New Star GP (2024) is an F1 arcade-style racing game where you drive and run your own motorsport team. Play is mainly a battle of memory and reaction times on the track, then between races decisions about your team. It stands out for the 90s-style visuals and four-player arcade racing challenge.
You compete in iconic racing circuits from the 1980s to the present day. You can also upgrade your car, choose your perks and pit strategy, and battle a grid of computer opponents. Drive through the night and deal with the changing weather. There's also a comprehensive split-screen multiplayer mode for up to four players in a selection of pre-made championships.
The result is a game where anyone can take the wheel and have success, but to really master it takes time and practice (and the perfect tyre choice). As you progress you learn to take care of component reliability, slipstreaming, fuel load, and even pit strategy.
