Play Overview
Evade draws on other games like Rainbow Friends, Nextbot Chase and Five Nights at Freddie's, in pitting you and your friends against a big bad killer. You play by running to stay clear of the enemy images that move quickly through the world. If you get caught you are downed and can only crawl around, but can be revived by other players as long as they aren't caught in the process.
What keeps players coming back is the detail of the environments you play in. There's a surprisingly accurate portrayal of an Ikea store for example, which is all the scarier for being empty of customers. As you progress you learn where the safe rooms are, and how to use the indicators of downed friends to find them and help them.

Age Ratings
Rated for younger players in Australia. Rated Parental Guidance (PG) for Mild Violence.
When the enemy comes close you hear a loud sound and your screen fades to red. Your character is then flung around until they are downed and can only crawl. This is depicted in cartoon style.
It includes a changing array of images for the baddies, some of which (at the time of writing) are taken from shows for adults like Breaking Bad, The Skeleton Appears, Peter Griffin from Family Guy and The Boys.
Skill Level
8+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. It's also important to ensure children understand in-game purchases and have spending limits set-up. Younger players need to be able to move quickly through the world, making quick decisions to try and get away from the enemy.

Evade
This game is free to play, but there are other costs associated with this game:- In-Game Purchases: Additional in-game purchases are offered for items that enhance the experience.
Many families choose to pay for an In-Game Subscription that grants access to features and Robux currency for use in any Roblox games without the risk of individual transactions. Outside the game, you can make larger purchases.
This subscription grants 450 Robux a month as well as discounts on buying more Robux and access to selling and trading items with other subscribed Roblox players. The games generally encourage the spending of Robux to progress as a proportion of the money spent goes to the person who creates the game.
You can buy items that help you play (Floodlights, Barriers, Night Vision) as well as ways to customise how you look that offer some benefits (Medkit makes you faster, Briefcase gives you more cash).
You can use Robux (purchased with real money) to buy things in the game but they are only cosmetic.
It's important to set up your accounts and devices appropriately. More information is on our Financial Resources page.
