Play Overview
You start by purchasing items to help you (vitamins, a lockpick, a lighter and a flashlight) before entering the first room. You proceed from room to room, finding keys and opening doors. It's not long before you are confronted by a ghost who threatens to kill or harm you. Their appearance is powerful, shocking, and part of the thrill.
As you progress (and die and try again) you learn how to deal with each of the different ghosts and progress further into the mansion. This is a combination of understanding when ghosts might appear, whether you need to hide or run, solving puzzles to access keys and knowing when you need to run. For example:
- Rush Ghost: Appears when lights flicker you need to hide in a cupboard.
- Ambush Ghost: Keep hiding and they will go.
- Eyes Ghost: Avoid looking directly at it.
- Figure Ghost: Figure chases you with amazing hearing.
The result is a horror game that is unnerving not only because of jump scares but the creeping dread of what you might find in the next room. This combines with the escape room puzzles to make for a tense experience that has earned an avid following on Roblox.

Age Ratings
Rated for younger players in Australia. Rated Parental Guidance (PG) for Mild Violence.
The nature of the game is scary as you are trying to escape ghosts and ghouls. These are all depicted with cartoon-like visuals and are not realistic looking. Some enemies have large skeleton-like heads. There are a lot of eyes that appear in the walls to scare you. One enemy has large grinning teeth and a melting face. Another is a large dark man with a single eye or a large mouth full of sharp teeth.
Skill Level
9+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it's important for parents and guardians to consider the maturity required to process the game content. It's also important to ensure children understand in-game purchases and have spending limits set-up. You need to be able to stay calm under pressure and think logically about how to escape each ghost. Some puzzle solving skill is needed but mainly this is a game about attention to clues and careful exploration.
